Ian's transition to site supervision was a natural progression driven by his passion for development, where he excels in planning and coordinating trades to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time.

One of Ian's proudest achievements includes assembling over 500 acres of development land in Sharon, Ontario, significantly contributing to growth following the Greenbelt legislation. His efforts resulted in the creation of over 250 residential building lots and the construction, leasing, and sale of several commercial plazas. Ian's professional philosophy revolves around action and continuous forward movement, guiding him through numerous challenging projects and reinforcing his resilience and determination. His ability to lead and mentor stems from the valuable guidance he received from his building and development partners, which he now imparts to his teams.

Outside of his professional life, Ian is deeply committed to his community, particularly Georgian Bay. He has served as Chair of the Land Committee for The Georgian Bay Land Trust, remains on its Board of Advisors, and has been Vice President of the Pointe Au Baril Islanders Association, as well as a board member of the Georgian Bay Association. His hobbies include spending quality time with family, snow skiing, sailing, kayaking, and boating, reflecting his love for the outdoors and his appreciation for an active and balanced lifestyle.
